This online Introduction to TRE is suitable both for people new to TRE as well as those already experienced in the technique.
The workshop teaches participants TRE for self-care use only & does NOT provide a qualification to teach TRE to others. Attendance qualifies as a prerequisite to apply for the next Australian TRE Certification Training beginning in July 2025.

Did you know that shaking or tremoring is the body’s way of releasing stress, tension and even trauma? We all have this in-built system for managing what life throws at us but because we perceive shaking as being physically or emotionally weak, we unconsciously inhibit this naturally restorative response.
When we learn to engage the tremors with simple stretch and fatigue exercises, we get to reconnect with the bodies innate healing response.Benefits often include improved emotional resilience, reduced stress/anxiety/depression, clearer thinking, improved problem solving, muscular tension reduction, easier breathing and more.
This technique has been around for over 25 years and is practiced in over 44 countries but is still relatively new to Australia. Over 2 evenings from 6pm-9pm we will learn how to engage the tremors safely and effectively as well as;
– how to use tremoring in daily life
– the history of spontaneous neurogenic movement
– polyvagal theory and how it relates to TRE
– listening to and following the body
– self regulation vs co regulation
– the role of fascia in TRE
– ACE study
– triune brain and how it relates to TRE
– grounding and embodiment
– resourcing and capacity building
Suitable for all ages and fitness levels, TRE is one of the easiest and simplest ways to reduce stress and increase enjoyment in life. For the tremoring component you will need a clear space with a yoga mat and a blanket and cushion for the rest component afterwards. Come along and shake it free with TRE!
